PlaneBase GDPR Privacy Policy
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25th May 2018.
GDPR sets out how organisations may process your personal data and provides you with rights to ensure your personal data is not misused.
PlaneBase is a non-incorporated organisation.
The data we hold about you, the software user is held securely and access is restricted to authorised members of the PlaneBase Admin Team.
The data is only used for the optimal running of PlaneBase and PBMobile software.
Your data has never and will never be passed to any third party organisation for their own use. We engage one third party supplier (based in the UK) to host our website, but we also require you to use an email group (see PlaneBase Group below).
The personal data held is limited to a name, email address, IP Address and software data including download details and software versions.
PBMobile users: your phone manufacturer and model are also collected for licencing purposes.
Much of this data is available to existing users to view in the user portal.
The legal basis for collecting and processing this personal data is (i) compliance with our obligations under our contract with you; and (2) to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not transfer users’ personal data outside of the EEA.
Upon termination of membership your details are archived for historic lookup for up to 6yrs and no longer stored in the active user database.
Removal of this data can be requested by contacting support from your registered email address.
Your email address is required to contact you directly regarding your installations and you will receive occasional emails from PlaneBase containing important information that we require all users to be made aware of.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our software does not use these cookies explicitly. However, our software may use third party code and libraries that use cookies to collect information and improve their services. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this service.
Children’s Privacy
Our software does not address anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16. In the case we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
